The Bicycle Film Festival is held annually throughout major international cities. It is catered to people young and old, and is not limited to the avid cyclist. A variety of events are offered throughout the festival including concerts, bicycling games, and parties. Featured films depict different aspects of bikes, bike culture, and celebrating the form of the bicycle.

The retro 3D aspect was meant to create a stronger link to the film element of the festival, as well as to create movement, and strengthen graphic interest. Approachable and welcoming; The identity peaks visual interest through the very literal incorporation of the unexpected film reels. The colour scheme and 3D style are easily carried through into the word mark and throughout the type within the ticket and pamphlet.

REMAX is represented through the overlap of red and blue houses representing both the buying and selling of homes, and their place within the real estate market. The resulting shape is a purple arrow relating to their slogan, "Above the crowd" This is further tied to the REMAX identity with the incorporation within the wordmark and headings.

PULP+ Magazine is dedicated to contemporary comics and illustration. Its demographic focuses on 17-35 year old men and women who are interested in art, culture, fine arts, and comics. Contrary to the mainstream, many contemporary comics tend
to shift their focus towards artistic and personal subjects. Because they do not answer to a mainstream publisher, independent comic creators have significantly more influence on their final product, and tend to use it more as a form of expression than for capital gain.

The magazine is 9 in by 11.5 inches and works on an eight-column grid. This allows for multiple layout options and solutions. Serifa and Akzidenz are used consistently throughout. This humanist slab-serif is used for the body copy, in this case, to make large blocks of text lighter and less intimidating. Consistency throughout spreads is shown through the use of a solid black line, separating the contents of the page, from the footer.

The pages are numbered in a way that expresses each pages position within their section. Should an article run for four pages,
all four page numbers are visible on each page, though the corresponding page number is bold. This was done to unify articles,
and allow the reader to assess their progress throughout the magazine.

The PULP+ logo is hand drawn based on uppercase Akzidenz Grotesque, and made to appear with cartoon-like perspective. Compared to similar completely digital solutions, this hand drawn logo is more expressive and relative to the subject matter
of the magazine. It adds an artistic element to an otherwise strict and conservative cover layout.

This book is an exploration of the idea of time through decay. Created as an experimental book, it focuses on aspects of decay in my life and experiences. It incorporates facts, quotes, and thoughts on the existence and endurance of permanence.

Pinted on vellum, the book achieves a lucid effect as it progresses. I wanted to play with the print medium and see what I could express and manipulate to emphasize my content.
